About YPC
CGS Young Professionals Conference (previously known as the CYGEGC) serves as a platform for young professionals in geotechnical engineering and geosciences to network, learn, and present technical material to an audience of peers. In doing so, the intent is for the delegates to come out of the experience with more confidence and connections prior to attending the national conference, or other similar large-scale conferences.

The CGS YPC begins with a day-long technical tour to highlight local geology, industry, and infrastructure. The technical tour is then followed by two days of delegate presentations, technical workshops, keynote presentations, panel discussions, and social events.
